Ear Infection, Coughing Fits
My name is Karen Samot and I first met Dr. Dan Gambino and his wife Dr. Kim through a demonstration that had in front of their office. I was skeptical at first, because I thought, “What could he do for me? I don’t have a bad back and I feel alright.” Well, he explained what a chiropractor does and how chiropractic can improve your overall health.
I told Dr. Dan about my five year old son Nicholas. Nicholas had constant ear infections since he was eight years old. The only thing doctors could do was prescribe different antibiotics each time. But as soon as he would go off them, he would have another ear infection. He would get such severe fevers as well. One time we had to take him to the hospital emergency room in the middle of the night. Even at a year and a half, they had to strap him to a board to keep him still to examine him because his pain was so intense. All we could do is watch and cry with him. All we wanted was our son to be healthy. It seemed to be a constant battle. The last problem we faced was a coughing fit he would have off and on during the day and all night. He would cough so hard he would vomit all over himself in his sleep. His pediatrician told me he just has an upper respiratory infection and maybe a little asthma, so he prescribed a drug called sloebid which I discovered causes the heart to race. He continued to cough non-stop for 3 ½ weeks. That’s when I met Dr. Dan. He started to adjust Nicholas and we saw such dramatic changes in 2 days. He only coughed on occasion for the next 2 weeks. Since mid-December he has not had an ear infection or coughing fit. He has been healthier now than he has ever been. My two year old daughter and myself have also been regular adjustments and its made a world of difference for us all. The best part is that our bodies are able to remain healthy DRUG-FREE. I’ve learned so much from Drs. Kim and Dan and my family is extremely grateful. Thank you again.
