Short Attention Span

Adam came with me to the office and Dr. Dan found out he was having headaches. Dr. Dan thought he could work on him and found him to be a little crooked.

Adam is in third grade. Looking back to when he started school, he didn’t have a very long attention span. We struggled with schoolwork and our evenings were a disaster. He didn’t seem to be interested in school at all.

Much has happened, but probably the best thing that occurred to Adam since we’ve been coming here is that he has matured. He listens more than ever and I don’t have to argue with him over everything.  His schoolwork had improved tremendously.  In second grade, he was making C’s and D’s. This year he has made A’s and B’s. On his last report card he got straight A’s! Last year Adams teacher called me. She wanted to have a conference with me and wanted to have him tested for ADD [Attention Deficit Disorder]. They mentioned Ritalin. I never took Adam to get tested. Instead, I wound up meeting Dr. Dan at the Apple Butter Festival and we started receiving adjustments in October. Without knowing it, it was going to be the best thing for my son.
